HIKING AT THE DELLS

The hiking trails in The Dells provide miles of terrain, connecting with Prescott’s 5.1-mile Peavine National Recreation Trail and Prescott Valley’s four-mile Iron King Trail. Willow and Watson Lakes are an easy trail-hike away.

The Peavine Trail

Hikers equestrians and cyclists head down the nearly level, packed-gravel trail, which is 4.15 miles one way and connects with several other trails. The Peavine Trail can be accessed from the west side of The Dells, allowing residents to experience one of Prescott’s greatest amenities.

The Iron King Trail

This trail runs nearly four miles long and radiates with a quintessential southwest flare. It passes through lovely grasslands, rustic sandstone rock formations and enchanting dessert while capitalizing on unique foliage and its historical background.
